Why do I have to deal with so many people?

Print takes teamwork.

In a printing business, the key objective is to produce completed printing that is to the specification and client’s expectation plus it is on time. In a process that is often under both time scale and cost pressures, it is essential that we are very deliberate and organised in how we achieve this.

Now a criticism that is often levelled against RevPrint is that the customer must deal with so many people. While it may be simpler for the client to have only one person to deal with, the fact is that printing takes an entire team. One of the key reasons for RevPrint’s success over the years is teamwork plus the fact that we have a very carefully set up process supported by solid systems.

As laid out under “Our Process” on our website, there are very definite steps, 10 stages are identified, that even the smallest job must go through. From the requirement through to ongoing liaison and contact for repeat work. What is not covered there is the expertise required at each stage along the way. It can vary quite a lot.

Even though all members of the team get to know some of the details of their colleague’s work, the Estimator is the best to consult on print and media options, the Designer is best suited to help with the “how to prepare artwork” and the bookkeeper will understand the requirements of your accountant for certain details on the invoice.

So, while you may have to deal with a few people along the way, our objective is to ensure that you always are in touch with the best person to get the work done correctly in all aspects. Some have found this frustrating at first but, in the end, once the client has completed the process with us, most of our clients have enjoyed the result and found it quite reassuring.

Hence it is that, when you hit “reply” to an invoice or a design proof, you won’t get the bookkeeper or the designer. We will always put you in touch with the best person to help solve your query at that time.

Having said that, we do learn a lot from each other and most of the time nearly any person in the team can help if the so-called “best option” team member is not available.

Rest assured, at RevPrint, you are backed by a team and never dependent on one individual.

Hopefully the answer to the “Why do I have to deal with so many people?” question and you can enjoy the results of teamwork.

Leave it with us, you are in good hands!

Adding Value to Printing

In all projects, the most critical component is time. All the stresses associated with events, projects and specifically the printing, arise from three key things – Costs, Timescales and Quality. Out of the three, time is the one thing we can plan for, but cannot really alter. If we fail to plan correctly, the first two casualties are costs and quality.
