How do I place an order?
On-line products: Select your required options and quantity for respective product in the shop. Be sure to indicate whether it’s a pickup or delivery. Download the file, pay at the checkout and the RevPrint team will take care of the rest. Your file will be checked by our designer to ensure print readiness before going to print.
Unique requirements: Please make use of the contact forms to give us as much information as possible inorder to quote correctly. Only once a quote is approved, will we begin any work.
How do I ensure my artwork is print ready?
Make sure your artwork is to size and that you have added at least 3mm bleed if you want your design to go to the edge of your page. All images should be converted to CMYK and at least 300dpi, and text should be converted to outlines, paths or curves. A High Quality Print PDF is the best print file format. We will always check your artwork to ensure hat it is print ready and feed any recommendations back to you. If required, we can provide handy guides to reduce any re-work.
What are standard paper sizes?
The paper sizes below are the basis for most cut sheets and for most printing machines and hence the most cost-effective choices. We do however produce Flyers, booklets and in fact all our printing in customised sizes where that is required.
We can print to any size you require but it is cost-effective to use standard page sizes as listed below:
Business card 50mm x 90 mm
A6 105mm x 148mm
A5 148mm x 210mm
A4 210mm x 297mm
A3 297mm x 420mm
A2 420mm x 594mm
A1 594mm x 841mm
A0 841mm x 1189mm
Which file formats are acceptable?
We can work with most file formats. With regard to print work, the preferred format is a high resolution PDF (Adobe Acrobat), but we can also deal with CorelDraw, Freehand, Illustrator and InDesign.
MS Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint are acceptable for text and presentation documents.
Images should be a minimum of 300 dpi and acceptable file extensions are .jpg, .png, .psd, .tif, .bmp.
How long is the printing process?
Much of what we produce is done within 2-3 days after the artwork is finalised. Larger jobs or work requiring for example external processes may take up to 10 working days. Please confirm your delivery requirements at the time of placing the order.
How will I get my job?
The quickest option usually is to pick up your work at RevPrint the day it is completed. We do however have a regular driver and also make use of couriers should this be required. For online orders, this can be confirmed directly at the time of order placement.
